A 25 year old man died when his motorcycle skidded off a curve and crashed into a cement post, propelling him into a pond.

Yesterday, April 6, at 11am, officers from Ban Pho Police Station and emergency services in Chachoengsao were alerted to the discovery of a man’s body in a fish pond near a motorcycle at the entrance of Yui intersection, heading towards Krathum Temple, village 2, Sanam Chan subdistrict, Ban Pho district, Chachoengsao province.

Upon arrival, they found the deceased, identified as Thiwat Seenet, whose body was bloated, suggesting he had been dead for approximately one day. Nearby, a Chachoengsao-registered motorcycle was submerged in the pond. Rescue services worked to retrieve the motorcycle from the water.

Initial investigations revealed no signs of struggle in the surrounding area. Police surmised that Thiwat likely lost control of his motorcycle, causing it to veer off the curve and into the pond, where he may have lost consciousness and subsequently suffocated. His body was discovered by a passerby on the pond’s edge.

The pond’s owner recounted to reporters that while inspecting the pond as usual, they noticed damage to a cement post nearby. Curious about the situation, they surveyed the area and discovered the submerged motorcycle and Thiwat’s bloated body in the pond. They immediately contacted the police and rescue services to investigate the scene.

Police officials are continuing to examine the site for additional evidence and clues to determine the exact cause of death, reported KhaoSod.
